HS 2022: A refresher on HS classification and tips to ensure your products are classified under the latest Harmonized System

Following the implementation of HS 2022, this session will review the importance of the global harmonized system and how countries used it as a basis for their own Harmonized Tariff Systems. We will give an overview of the European Union Classification system, and will also cover the importance of selecting a proper tariff number by reviewing common trouble spots for global shippers, as well as the consequences of misclassification.
