August 5, 2017 - Over the past several days, Custom and Border Protection's (CBP) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system experienced several series of intermittent disruptions. During these episodes, BDP International was fully engaged with CBP to ensure awareness of any potential effects to our customers.
After another system outage last night due to power supply failure, CBP confirmed earlier today that the hardware update was successful and all systems are fully functional. Senior IT and operational staff from CBP is closely monitoring the system to ensure optimal operational performance.
BDP International is pleased to share that there were no issues with any customer transactions for imports or exports as a result of the outages.
Our team will continue to actively engage with CBP, and remain vigilant over the next several days to ensure continued minimal impact to customers. We will keep our customers apprised of any new developments, but encourage you to reach out to your BDP representative with any questions or concerns.
