September 25, 2018 - BDP has opened its fourth office in Egypt. The new operation is headquartered in Port Said and is overseen by Country Manager Emad Tawfik. Tawfik will report to Fikret Ersoy, BDP’s Managing Director of Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
The new operation adds to BDP’s growing global footprint: The Philadelphia-based logistics and transportation company now has 150 offices worldwide.
The Port Said office location continues to solidify BDP’s presence in Africa. Port Said is considered one of the most strategic locations on the Mediterranean Sea due to its proximity to the Suez Canal, which connects the Mediterranean with the Red Sea. The port handles nearly 4 million TEUs per year.
