PHILADELPHIA, PA - October 14, 2021 - BDP International (BDP), a leading privately-held global logistics and transportation solutions company, has announced Mr. Neil Wheeldon as the company’s newly created role of Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer. Neil will oversee all aspects of BDP’s long-range service and solution strategy that will drive opportunities for growth and support the evolving needs of the organization’s extensive customer base.
Neil is a supply chain expert, with over 20 years of industry experience in the arenas of global trade, digitization, 3PL and 4PL strategy, transformation, and execution across industry verticals including chemicals, electronics, industrial & manufacturing, and retail. He joined BDP in 2019, where he most recently served as the company’s Vice President of Solutions & Innovation. In this role, Neil spearheaded the further development of BDP’s Innovation Team and has been instrumental in the implementation of several ground-breaking proofs of concept and digital apps for BDP’s customers. He also holds master’s degrees in business administration, business law, and supply chain management, and has written extensively on industry trends and economic outlook.
