We are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our event participants. This privacy notice describes how we use and protect any information we collect from you when you register for this event or use the event App.

PSA BDP - 510 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. We are responsible for processing your information (data controller). PSA BDP. is the parent company of Local BDP entity and both are part of the PSA Group, due to this relationship we may share information with them.
When this privacy notice uses the terms “participant”, “you”, or “your” we mean people using the registration page and event App. “Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
What information do we collect from you?
We may collect information from you during the registration process and/or while using the Event App or Event Website.
During the registration process and at the event:
first name, last name; contact details such as email, mobile phone number, country, city; company name; photograph or video; your interests, preferences, feedback, and survey responses; messages you send to other participants through the App; the content of your posts to group discussions and activity feed posts (if offered); and challenges you complete in the event game (if offered) .
You have the option to complete a profile while using the Event App or Event Website, this information is processed on the grounds of consent:

In general, we only rely on consent as a legal basis for processing in relation to distributing event announcements via push notification, this can be changed in the event App itself.
Cookies & third party service
We use cookies on our website to distinguish you from other users of our website and Service. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve the website and Service. For detailed information on the cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them see our Cookie Policy.
We use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns on our registration page and App. We do this to find out things such as the number of people using the registration page and App and the popularity of content within the App. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We use the anonymizeip feature to anonymize your IP address and limit the amount of identifiable data is collected. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Who might we share your information with?

In order to make certain services available to you, we may need to share your personal data with some of our service partners. These include our event registration and App provider Eventify.
We only allow our service providers to handle your personal data when we have confirmed that they apply appropriate data protection and security controls. We impose contractual obligations on service providers to ensure that they (i) process personal data only under our instructions; (ii) assist us in fulfilling our obligations under applicable data protection legislation; and (iii) safeguard personal data in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
Required by law
We will disclose personal data when we believe that the disclosure is required by law, including to comply with a judicial order served on us or when we receive a request from law enforcement authorities. We will only disclose personal data to law enforcement authorities upon demonstration of lawful authority.
International Transfer
BDP International Inc. a part of the PSA Group, personal information collected during this event can also be processed for and by other companies affiliated within PSA Group. When you register for the event or use the event App vFairs please be aware that you are sending information (including personal data) to the United States where our servers are located. The courts, law enforcement or public authorities in the United States may be able to obtain disclosure of the data through the laws of the United States.
How long do we keep your information?
We will not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this notice.
How do we secure and protect your information?
We are committed to data security. We protect your information through integrated physical, technological and administrative safeguards. Your information is protected by security safeguards appropriate to the level of sensitivity of the data through (i) physical measures, such as secure areas; (ii) technical measures, such as encryption and secure servers; and (iii) organizational measures such as access policies based on the need-to-know and employee security through vetting and supervision.
However, if a personal data breach has occurred, we will notify you of the breach after becoming aware of the breach in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to request access to your personal data, you also have the right to request rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your personal data.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please not that withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect (processing of your personal data based on your consent before withdrawal is lawful up to the moment when you withdraw your consent).
Where applicable you might also have the right to object to the processing of your data. Where applicable, you have the right to receive your personal data provided to the controller or have your personal data transmitted directly to another controller (data portability).
You can access and correct your personal data published in your participant profile through the App or website.
Requests to exercise any of your rights as mentioned above can be sent to privacyrequest@bdpint.com and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please be advised that not all jurisdictions require us to provide you with all the rights listed above. There may be circumstances where we are not legally required to comply with your request because of exemptions provided for in the applicable privacy legislation.
We will respond to your request within one month, free of charge, unless the volume or complexity of the request requires a longer process. We will notify you if we require an extension and may charge you a reasonable fee if the administrative cost of providing the information is excessive. If we refuse the request, we will provide justification.
Changes to this privacy notice
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update or modify this privacy notice at any time ("modifications"). Modifications to this privacy notice will be posted with a change to the "Updated" date at the top of this privacy notice. In certain circumstances we may, but need not, provide you with additional notice of such modifications, including by email.

Your continued participation in the event and use of the App following the effectiveness of any modifications to this privacy notice constitutes acceptance of those modifications. If any modification to this privacy notice is not acceptable to you, you should cease accessing, browsing and otherwise using the event app or event website.
